Music and Worship
We desire to be a worshiping church...a church that worships Jesus Christ with authentic and joyous praise! Our church family gathers together each week, people from all ages and from all walks of life, to focus our attention on the all sufficient goodness of Jesus Christ. We want to honor Jesus and give Him glory through our celebrative expressions of music and song that are God-focused and Christ-exalting.
Children and Families
On Mainstreet at Westwood, we strive to point our families and children to the life-saving power of Jesus Christ. We believe in the family, and that homes built on God's good Word build stronger families and disciple our children to discover and be all that God has for them to be.
Adult Sunday School
Our ministry for students is designed especially for middle school and high school students. We want to meet youth where they are and walk with them along their journey to a closer relationship with Jesus and each other.
The Whole Truth Book by Book
The Westwood Sunday-school-classes meet from 9:00 AM-9:45 AM to study the Bible, pray, fellowship, and encourage each other.
Our ministry to women, Sisters, InC., is for women of all ages and designed to help each woman discover that she is uniquely gifted by God. It is our desire for women to find a place to study the Word of God and equip them to use the gifts that God has given them.
The library at Westwood provides our church family with resources to enrich their relationship with Christ as well as their relationships with each other. Our goal is to provide a place of fellowship and enrichment that will glorify Christ and edify the body.
Many times, the support of others can give us the strength we need to get through those days, months, and sometimes years, following the death of our loved one. With that in mind, Westwood has formed a grief support group called..."Recovery of the Heart."
We believe God listens and answers when His people pray. Each Wednesday at 9am, men of all ages gather at Westwood for that very purpose. We call this group our "Gatekeepers" because they are "guarding the gates" with prayer...prayers for blessing over our church family and for specific needs mentioned. A typical Wednesday morning begins with a study from God's Word, followed with prayer in groups of 3-4 men. We invite all men to come join us in prayer.
