  • The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC)

    Through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, churches like ours work together through our state conventions to support a wide array of ministries and missions including: evangelism efforts, children’s homes, volunteer missions, missions education, new churches, colleges and universities, collegiate ministries, camps, and much more.

  • International Mission Board (SBC)

    Through the International Mission Board, our church joins other Southern Baptists to support approximately 5,624 missionaries who are engaging 655 people groups, of populations greater than 100,000, around the world. We are blessed to have many of our own church family serving throughout the world under the ministries of the International Mission Board. They can be assured of our love and persistent prayers. Our hope is that God will continue to call out from our church family those who will answer the call to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..."

  • North American Mission Board (SBC)

    New churches numbering over 1,364 are planted through the efforts of more than 5,304 North American Missionaries, whose efforts are coordinated through the North American Mission Board and individual state conventions. At Westwood, our goal is to become a church-planting church. Our hope is to work most effectively toward this goal through the cooperative effort provided by the North American Mission Board.

  • Tennessee Baptist Convention (SBC)

    The ongoing desire and focus of our state missionary staff is Making Christ Known by Serving Churches. As a Southern Baptist church, we voluntarily support the cooperative ministries of the Tennessee Baptist Convention.

  • CrossNet Baptist Network

    CrossNet Baptist Network, formerly the "Bradley Baptist Association" is a network of Southern Baptist Churches committed to glorifying God by leading the people of Bradley County into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Together with other churches in our community, we are working toward a day when every person in every community in Bradley County will have an opportunity to hear the Gospel, respond with faith in Christ, and participate in New Testament fellowship thru the local church. Our support of our local association reflects our desire to join with other churches in ministering most effectively to our community with the Good News of God's Love in Jesus Christ.

  • The Caring Place

    "The Caring Place is an ecumenical Christian, non-profit organization with the mission to model the love of Christ by addressing basic spiritual, physical and social needs of the disadvantaged in Bradley County, Tennessee." Beyond our regular financial gifts to The Caring Place, many from our church family volunteer on a regular basis in service to this vital ministry to the hurting of our community.

  • New Hope Pregnancy Care Center

    "New Hope Pregnancy Care Center is a safe place for women and men to come and receive complete and accurate information to help them in making wise choices for their future, and where women who have already had an abortion can find nurture and guidance without condemnation." Our church is passionately supportive and defensive for the sanctity of human life. New Hope Pregnancy Care Center carries a crucial presence to support life in our community.

  • C.A.T.C.H. Ministry

    CATCH is an acronym for "Christian Anglers Together Can Help." CATCH is a non-profit parachurch organization with the primary purpose to reach individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the activity of fishing. When resources are available, CATCH provides necessities of life and recreational activities for those in our community that are less fortunate. "We take the Gospel to ponds, lakes and rivers in an attempt to reach people that wouldn’t consider attending a traditional church service. We have competitive bass tournaments for adults and fun-filled fishing derbies for children. We also have activities that include nursing home patients and individuals who have been court-ordered to complete drug rehabilitation. Our chaplain or his designee gives a Biblically based devotion at all CATCH events. We share the truth of God’s love and grace in a fun and non-threatening environment."

  • Common Bond Christian Women's Job Corp

    "Women from all walks of life who have or are struggling with life issues or employment issues can join [the] Common Bond Christian Women’s Job Corps. The nationwide program sponsored through the Women’s Missionary Union of the Southern Baptist Convention is sponsored locally by Bradley Baptist Association." Westwood provides work and office space to this cooperative ministry to our community.

  • Ocoee Outreach

    Ocoee Outreach is a community ministry that provides free home repair to low-income home owners living in Southeast Tennessee. Through the restoration of houses, we believe we can accomplish the greater restoration of hearts and homes now and for eternity. The ultimate desire is to spread the love and good news of Jesus Christ to all they cross paths with.

  • Bread of New Life Ministries - Kenya

    Dr. Joseph Wambugu leads this ministry of evangelism and orphan care through a network of evangelical churches in the region of Kenya and surrounding countries in Africa. We celebrate all that God is doing through the ministries of Bread of New Life. Westwood has a long standing relationship with Bishop Wambugu, and is committed to supporting this ministry through prayer and ministry support. We encourage further support through short-term ministry visits.

  • Kiev Theological Seminary

    The vision of the Kiev Theological Seminary is "to become an international center of relevant training, instructive resources, and nurturing networks for evangelical Christians in ministry, through collaboration with local churches and parachurch organizations." Pastor Steve has been a visiting professor to this seminary.

  • Anchor Point Foundation

    "Anchor Point Foundation ("Anchor Point") offers to all who battle life controlling addictions the opportunity for healing and recovery through Christ and a Bible-based residential program for rehabilitation."
