Academy for the Creative Arts
We seek to provide a positive atmosphere where students of all ages and creative interests can pursue excellence in the arts through a Christian perspective.
What is an appropriate age to begin lessons?
Adults and children may enroll and will receive appropriate instruction which is adapted to each students age and experience. Dance lessons begin as early as three years of age, and piano can begins as early as five years. Each faculty member has the right to grant or refuse lessons to prospective students on the basis of an initial evaluation of readiness. If you have any questions, please call the Academy office at 423-472-1533 for answers.
Performances
The Academy believes that performance is an integral part of our instruction, as it fosters perseverance, commitment, self-discipline, and high achievement. We will hold a Spring and Fall Recital. Recital participation for all students is at the instructor's discretion and is dependent upon the student's individual preparedness for performance.

17th: Dec 7th: Pre-Registration Begins (Current students only!)
24th: 28th: Thanksgiving week - CLOSED
December 2008
4th: Dance Recital Rehearsal 5:00 PM (in the Worship Center)
5th: Academy Dance Recital 6:00 PM "Where Are You Christmas" in the Worship Center
6th: Music Chamber Recitals 6:00 PM on the 2nd floor (Promenade Area)
Remember all Recitals are FREE ADMISSION

8th: Jan. 3rd 2009: Open Registration Begins
*NOTE: There will be no "payment reduction" for the week in November, the WACA schedule is set at a full 16 weeks of study, excluding this week.
All payments should be made in full, by the 10th of each month.
SPRING 2009 REGISTRATION
Final day to register:
January 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon
Any student who does not register by the January 3, 2009 deadline will be charged a $25 late fee
in addition to the regular registration fees.
